Professional Bio:
Tamara is an HR Professional with over 13 years of progressive experience in all facets of Human Resources from various industries including financial services, public accounting, healthcare, hospitality, technology, e-commerce, non-profit and private companies.
She grew up in Detroit and has lived in the San Francisco, San Diego, Europe, South Korea and Mexico City.
After graduating from college, she earned her California Teaching Credential and worked as an elementary school teacher in the SF Bay Area for several years before doing a year long teaching stint in South Korea. She has been in the HR Space since 2010 and completed a HR Certificate Program through Cornell University. She also has earned a TA specialty credential and PHR certification through SHRM. Tamara is a current SHRM member and NYC SHRM Emerging Professionals board member.
